Team Desmond is walking again this year in support of Autism York. Team Desmond was excited to get 3rd place in Fundraising last year, and we hope to go even bigger this year! Team Desmond is named in dedication to Desmond Mumma, son of Amanda Saylor and Justin Mumma. He is a happy 5 year old boy. He is also diagnosed with ASD. The Mumma family are strong supporters of Autism York and hope you can dig deep into those wallets and support a charity that is not only AMAZING, but LOCAL! Most people know at least one or more people on the Autism Spectrum, and your donation ultimately helps local families have access to some of the best resources and events available in the area. We appreciate your support and thank you in advance!!!
Autism York sponsors many events and programs at low or no cost to families and individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder in our community. These include monthly meetings, family social events, social groups for adults & teens with ASD, a Resource Guide, Lending Library, information and awareness opportunities, the Buddy Project, Special Siblings Outreach Program, and more!
All are made possible through tax deductible donations to Autism York. About 75% of the income raised each year to fund all of these events and programs comes from the annual Walk. All money raised stays here to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families in the York area. Thank you for generous support!
