Our team is one of compassion and love. We have many family members who have different conditions that make them the wonderful and special people they are. Having two amazing children in our family that have Autism, we have started on our own journey to educate ourselves and find resources both locally and widespread. We think it's important to also educate the people around us about Autism and Autistic behavior. It's a way to show our community how many people are touched by Autism and how wonderful the people who have Autism are. The people who have been there to help, and support us have been amazing. Now, we would like to extend our hands to the community and return their compassion. Please join us in our journey of enlightenment and love.
Autism York sponsors many events and programs at low or no cost to families and individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder in our community. These include monthly meetings, family social events, social groups for adults & teens with ASD, a Resource Guide, Lending Library, information and awareness opportunities, the Buddy Project, Special Siblings Outreach Program, and more!
All are made possible through tax deductible donations to Autism York. About 75% of the income raised each year to fund all of these events and programs comes from the annual Walk. All money raised stays here to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families in the York area. Thank you for generous support!
