Hi! We are a local family here living in between New Oxford and East Berlin. This is our second year participating in an Autism York fundraiser. Our team name is Brayden's Buddies and our motivation is our son, Brayden. Brayden was diagnosed in 2013. We felt lost and unsure about what Autism meant for Brayden. We have attended a few of their meetings and realized we weren't alone. Many of the parents have had similar issues that we were experiencing with Brayden. We felt relieved to know that we weren't struggling alone. Autism York helped us find the support we needed and pointed us in the right direction to getting our family help. Our family has gone to many events and we feel confident that no one is judging Brayden or us. We have set a small goal of $500 and we are asking our family, friends and neighbors for help. All money raised will help to support local families & individuals affected by autism spectrum disorders. No donation is too small. Please help us spread awareness and promote acceptance. Thank you for your support!
Autism York sponsors many events and programs at low or no cost to families and individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder in our local community. These include monthly support meetings, family social events, social groups for adults & teens with ASD, a Resource Guide, Lending Library, information and awareness opportunities, and more!
All are made possible through tax deductible donations to Autism York. All funds raised stay here to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families in the York and surrounding areas. Thank you for generous support!
