Sterling is 4 years old and was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 3. Since 2 years of age, he has had many occupational therapies to aid in his development and help us understand and over all communicate better. He attends a special needs classroom of Lincoln Intermediate. Sterling is a sensory oriented little fire cracker and with your help, we can try to hit our fundraiser goal! The donations go to Autism York, an organization within our area that provides funding for local activities for people with Autism. We will be at the Walk in our Team 925 shirts. Hope to see you there! You can choose to walk with us and/or donate. Please share Team 925's info to get the word out! Thank you.
Autism York sponsors many events and programs at low or no cost to families and individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder in our community. These include monthly meetings, family social events, social groups for adults & teens with ASD, Resource and Transition Guides, Lending Library, information and awareness opportunities, and more!
All are made possible through tax deductible donations to Autism York. About 75% of the income raised each year to fund all of these events and programs comes from the annual Walk. All money raised stays here to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families in the York area. Thank you for generous support!
