ALL activities are FREE and open for the
entire event unless otherwise noted.


Team Trophies & Raffle winners are announced starting at 2:30pm.
 

Autism York Headquarters ~ Atrium (Main Entrance)

  • Talk with Autism York Members
  • Pick-up future event information
  • Sign up for our Newsletter
  • Learn about the Buddy Project and other Outreach initiatives
  • Connect with our Adult ASD Social Group
  • Buy($) a ticket for one of our many Raffle Baskets
  • Shop($) our selection of Awareness Items (prices vary)
  • Purchase($) an official Walk Tshirt
  • Pick up your commemorative 2014 Walk for Autism Pin (main entrance doors)

 

Donation Drop-off ~ Fundraising Room
(behind the Atrium staircase)

  • Drop off financial donations collected from friends and family
  • Captains of teams that have raised at least $400 can pick up medals in this room (one medal per team)
  • Cash, check and major credit cards will be accepted 
  • Donation cut-off for trophies is April 5th, 2014 at 2:00pm. Donations will be accepted after 2pm but will not be included in team totals for the trophies.

 

WALK ~ Indoor Track (2nd Floor)

  • Walk individually, as a family or as a large team
  • There is no distance requirement. Walk as little or long as you are able. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted.
  • Team photos can be taken outside in front of the building or up in the large hallway leading to the Indoor Track.

 

Children’s Play Area ~ Gymnasium

  • Families are invited visit all the inflatable area together OR
  • Families are welcome to drop off children in our extensive, super-vised and secure Children’s Play Area so they may browse the Autism Expo at their leisure. Children will have a great time enjoying bounce houses, an obstacle course, crafts, movies, & more!

 

Face Painting, Balloon Animals and Star Wars Personalities ~ Cafeteria Annex & Roaming the Event

Visit our amazing artists and personalities that are long-time favorites for kids of all ages! Don’t forget to bring your camera for all the photo opportunities available

 

Autism Expo ~ Cafeteria

The Autism Expo features an extensive vendor fair for autism specific vendors to exhibit their services. A multitude of information about autism is available for families, professionals and members of the community. The event allows families and individuals affected by autism to network and locate appropriate resources. Last year 45 vendors participated in this event.

 

Food Vendors ~ Outside Main Entrance

Staying at the event over lunch? Several food vendors will be located in front of the school where you can purchase food, drinks and snacks at your leisure.
