BUTTERFLY PRESENTATION & NATURE WALK

Come join us for a day of nature and fun at Nixon County Park!  Come enjoy a talk and snack while learning about York County’s butterflies and the native plant species that support them.  Experience the opportunity to tag monarch butterflies as they begin the migration back to Mexico for overwintering.  

The day’s events also include either a self-guided nature walk around the pond, or a more formally guided hike by a naturalist.   Experience the indoor Nature Center on your own after until park close at 4:30pm.
